Woodworking Production and Design







                Woodworking Production and Design is an intro-level course developed to teach students modern woodworking production and design techniques.  Students develop skills including plan reading, material layout, machine operation, complex joinery, advanced finishing, and quality control. Several required projects will be completed, and students are given the opportunity to design and fabricate individual wood projects based on student interest or need. This course is designed for all students interested in learning various woodworking processes.

Recommended Grade Level:  9, 10, 11, 12
Length of Course:  1 semester
