Electricity/Electronics
Electricity/Electronic is a hands-on, project based look at modern
electronic technology. This course is developed to educate students about the
use of modern electronic devices and their role in societies past, present, and
future. Topics covered include electrical theory, AC and DC circuits,
alternative electrical energy generation, electronic components, computer
programing, video game development, and robotics. Students will learn to read schematics
to assemble circuits using modern electronic devises such as transistors,
integrated circuits, and photo cells. Students will also learn and experience
computer programing through digital animation production and video game
development. Finally students will use their understanding of electronics and
programing to construct and program robots to perform various tasks and
challenges.
