Advanced Metals and Machining

Students who wish to continue in metal fabrication and machining will be able to refine their skills in Advanced Metals and Machining. Several upper level welding and machining projects will be completed during this course. Additionally, larger individual or partner projects can be completed in a self paced setting. Examples of student designed projects include engine hoists, log splitters, tool boxes, trailers, go-carts, tree stands, etc. This class is developed specifically for students who wish to use their metal working knowledge and skills to produce metal products based on their personal need or design. ** Due to the size and cost of many student projects, much of the cost of materials for personal projects must be covered by the student.
