Drafting and CAD II





This course provides students who are seriously considering a career using Drafting and CAD software an opportunity to explore advanced Drafting and CAD processes used at post-secondary institutes and industries around the world. Students will learn to accurately produce complex isometric, orthographic projection, 3D part, 3D assembly, and 3D animation files using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor Software. This course is intended for students who have completed the Drafting and CAD course and desire to further their CAD education.  Students will be expected to research, design projects, work independently, and most importantly problem solve.


Credits:  ½

Recommended Grade Level:  10, 11, 12
Length of Course:  1 semester

Prerequisite:  Drafting and CAD
