Advanced Woodworking






       Advanced Woodworking is a course created to develop student’s woodworking skills beyond Woodworking Production and Design.  Students will use plan reading and development, material layout, machine operation, complex joinery, advanced finishing, and quality control skills to develop independently designed projects. This course is intended for students passionate about woodworking who are able to research, design projects, adapt production techniques, work independently, and problem solve.

Credits:  ½

Recommended Grade Level:  10, 11, 12
Length of Course:  1 semester
Prerequisite:  Woodworking Production and Design
